Starting at Canal Street, we cruise south on Centre Street, past 150-year-old cast-iron stores and grand Romanesque government buildings. You’ll see the very first “modern” firehouse (1895) with brass sliding pole and horse stables. The court building used in the trials of such figures as Martha Stewart, Carl Icahn and…Santa Claus, from the 1947 film, Miracle on 34th Street. A view of the Brooklyn Bridge, with an optional ascent via pedicab!
An optional stop at the best camera shop in town.
Views of City Hall, now nearly 200 years old, and City Hall Park.
You’ll touch hacksaw marks on an iron fence where revolutionaries vandalized it one night in 1776.
Visit locations of film scenes from Batman, Ghostbusters II and Men In Black.
A stop at the World Trade Center, with facts and info about September 11th.
A 15-minute stop at Battery Park, for a walk-through and photos of the Statue of Liberty, in the harbor.
